Picking up the pieces

What inspires or motivates you?

What makes you happy?

These three questions can be paired together for effective soul searching. They produce the desired effect in someone who is double minded about what his/her life's direction is.

As humans, it is expected that life's daily activities get us frustrated, the way things turn out when we hope for something good, most times when we don't get the desired results we hoped for, it is especially painful when we had put in extra energy and time to get a favourable result. A failed opportunity brings us closer to our true destination, it eliminates one incorrect option of the many tabled before us.

Experience is said to be the best teacher not because it went to school and bagged a degree, but because each time we are face with a situation every time we fall down or every time we are hit with an unexpected blow, life teaches us a lesson and experience makes us remember it. As our experience begins to increase, we become wiser and avoid similar situations that lead us to fail again.

And that's where the initial trio-questions comes to play, our source of inspiration, motivation and happiness takes us to the next phase in our life, the experience we've gathered would be used to overcome the hurdles of failing uncontrollably. If we can identify those activities which give us joy then we are one step closer to living a fulfilled life with near-perfection.
