Fantasies as a means of shaping the world

We all have done it. We all practised it at one point or more in our existence. Majority of us must have given into our innermost desires no matter how petty they seemed, no matter how foolish they might have sounded to our near-neighbour when the time for tell tale arrived. We seemed not to care, because at that instance the joy we felt couldn't be quantified.
Some people do have weird fantasies, they fantasize about doing socially unacceptable and awkward things they can never be found doing.

Some people see fantasizing as an evil aura caused by laziness (which isn't entirely true). They feel being idle gives room to fantasies, and who ever indulges himself in such idle thoughts, a lazy man.

Does fantasizing make you a lazy person?

Do our fantasies make us bad people?

Do fantasies drag us deeper into an already failing mode of thinking?

My opinion to the questions are, "Not entirely."

The state of a person being good or bad is contributed from what his thoughts are and what triggers his thinking. His everyday life experiences, the places he goes to, the people he associates himself with, contributes in making his life experiences on which inspirations for his thinking is drawn from. Movies watched, books read, songs listened to, social clubs belonged to and other pop culture references contribute in making his daily life experiences which also influences the kind of thoughts his mind has.

Ideas can only be stemmed out of what catches the mind's fancy and so it is advised that one should give mostly positive feeds to his/her mind.

Not withstanding how hard it is to keep the mind clean because of the strong presence pop culture has in our time, non-lazy men and women with wild and society growth imaginations can still arise from this present generation with great thoughts that will shape our future.
