55 years of gambling and we are still strong, that was what a friend of mine said to me for independence yesterday, the gambling part of the statement made me laugh at first but after I got calm with time I began to realize that what he said wasn't far from the truth.
As a nation we have taken so many risks, its a surprise how we've been able to survive for this long, our healthcare, aviation, telecommunication, power and many other sectors have on several occasions seemed as though they were going to collapse but here we are, all the aforementioned sectors are still alive though not thriving and as optimists always say, it'll surely get better.
We are one Nigeria, we have made it this far as a nation though of many different tribes and we can continue thriving by working together.
We are young, at 55 we have our whole future ahead of us, let's make it count.
